A rare Phoenix Oolong from an 80-year-old tea grove in Phoenix Mountain, at an altitude of 1100m. Translated from “Mi Tao Xiang”, its name means honeyed peach fragrance.
This dancong cultivar has a intense sweet scent of peaches and flowers when brewed upon the second or third steep, intertwined with some minerality from a traditional charcoal roast. Smooth flavour and lingering honey aftertaste with some tannins.
Brew 5g to 150ml, 90 - 98ºC, 20-60 seconds
